Gord fishes mainly on the majestic Skeena River in British Columbia, known for beautiful scenery and famous for its importance as a habitat for salmon and steelhead. Practicing primarily in 'Catch and Release' fishing, he does enjoy the occasional Salmon for a good shore lunch. It is his belief that if practiced properly, fish can be caught and then released to return into their spawning grounds without harm, enabling the fish to continue their natural cycle. This helps to ensure that the population will thrive for generations to come. ​

He has been featured in publications such as Salmon Trout Steelheader Magazine and is recognized for his respect of the species and environment. If there are fish to be caught, he will lead you to them.
